Re: [EMS Fire Police PTSD] Reggie's medical update

I agree Bill, no one knows how long each of us has. My life came very close to
ending, or seriously changing 11 days ago when my car was totaled. The only
thing that saved me were the side air bags. I just had an MRI today, courtesy of
"No-Fault". I have pain in my left hip and nerve pain down my leg and into my
foot. I'm glad the accident was not my fault. Now, some of my PTSD symptoms are
heightened... flashbacks, startle reflex, etc. The best thing we can do today
is, as you said, Live. I can't say that I know what living with a chronic lung
problem is like, but my heart and prayers are with you, Reggie, and everyone
else here who is in this EMS neglect boat. I love you All!

This is what many of the rescuers deal with every day, no one knows how long
each of has. But each day above ground is a good day.

I am now facing 3 more surgeries just waiting for the autherizations. Let
see it took 19 weeks to get the last CT scan -- I say about christmas or so,
now.
The experts know nothing - we suffer from disease from toxic exposure no
time tables exist for this, so don't count your days away. Live.
