Oh yes the smells and sounds bring it all back. I also have isolated
myself by choice, i have pushed everyone away. I have kids so IM not
totally isolated. They dont care what you want, they know what they
want to do....haha...i have no answers, ive recently in the last few
days been thinking therapy hasnt made me better, medication isnt
working that well, im waiting to start on a third one. I feel worse
than i did 14 months ago when i reached out to get help. I dont think
that there is a cure for ptsd. If we are lucky we can control it, but
it will never go away. Its a life long struggle.
