Re: [EMS Fire Police PTSD] hello - newbie

Michelle welcome tot he family, my name is amy i am the founder here,
i also have PTSD, i hope you find all the comforts you need here,
please feel free to cry scream yell shout or any other emeoition you
feel you need to express we are here to listen. there are many
people here who have found us for various sources f the PTSd and if
you look thru the posts, we will offer up ways we have used to cope
the PTSD, learn to live with and and just learn to live again.

i cant tell you there is one way to beat it, i cant tell you it is a
quick process....but i can tell you it can be done.

I am not 100% over mine, but from 1/2000 when i started this group i
have gone from being about 20% to about 90% of the way back to who i
want to be.

Well i hate to cut this short but i am in on vacation and i must get
offline as i am paying by the minute

amy

have come a long way in the process of recovery and still have a long
road ahead of me.

beautiful here. I never got CISD Counseling (critical incident
stress debriefing) but had some support. Here I have the tremendous
support of OKC Bombing Survivors and Family. They taught me: Dont
let anyone tell you not to grieve, Dont let anyone tell you how to
feel, Dont let anyone tell you to get over it and many more things.
