Eosinophilia-Myalgia Syndrome (EMS) is a rare, chronic autoimmune-mediated disease almost always associated with ingestion of tainted L-Tryptophan supplements. This Yahoo! group is open to those with EMS for support and sharing of information. It's also open to people with diseases similar to EMS or who have used tryptophan or related supplements and have questions about EMS. Our group does not argue about the merits of pure tryptophan vs. contaminated tryptophan and is not for those who want to argue about the cause of EMS or anything negative like that. Even the scientists don't agree. The focus of the group is positive sharing and consideration for those suffering with EMS.
