He was a smoker for 40+ years he is 58 now. The doc said he had lost 25%
lung capacity.

He immediately stopped smoking but refuses to go to the doc again.

He has shortness of breath and slight trouble breathing during some weather.

Should he be getting treatment? Or is there nothing to do except live with
it?
