Thanks so much for the information. St. Louis, Mo. also has a NETT
program going and this is the closest place to me, but still an 8 hour
drive. Did your husband's Dr. have to endorse his taking part in this
experiment? I talked to mine just a bit about the surgery and his problem
with it is, no one knows what the long term effects are, but he has patients
who he said would be dead by now if they hadn't had it done. Of course, we
all know what the long term effects of Emphysema are, so I couldn't see why
he was so hesitant about it.
Sure glad your husband is making some improvement with this program and
hope he will be chosen for the surgery. Everyone I've ask so far has had
many good things to say about it.
