Hi All,
We know that EFT and EmoTrance are some of the most powerful therapies on
the planet, but the mainstream medical, psychotherapy and counselling
organisations have continually denigrated them. We now have further
recognition from a rather surprising source.
Karnac Books, which publishes and distributes books primarily on Freudian
and Jungian psychoanalysis has recently published EMDR and Energy Therapies:
Psychoanalytic Perspectives, by Phil Mollon. I haven't read it all yet, and
it includes far more on EMDR than EFT, but I'm especially pleased to note
that the bibliography includes Adventures in EFT, Advanced Patterns of EFT,
Oceans of Energy and Living Energy, all by Silvia Hartmann. Also included
are books by Callahan and such psychoanalytic luminaries as Balint, Bion,
Bollas, Fairbairn, Freud, Kohut, Lacan, etc, etc. Aren't they lucky to be
dragged into the new century with us? <grin>
Cheers,
Susan
