hi guys i need some info on a situation that led to my termination
at work
long story shirt i worked there for a year with no incident...even
got my raise after one year anniversary.
there was a women there with a mouth like a razor (administrative
assistant)
one day my boss was out for the day and they were working on the
furnace.
(she has been known to get rippy,or snotty and loud under
pressure....anyway everyone exited the building in a rush...i went
out the back way and came around front with everyone else...started
talking to one of the employees and lit a cigarette with everyone
else...she screamed at me at the top of her lungs (while on phone
with main supervisor)..many times to put the cigarette out...once we
got back inside the building i called my main supervisor on the cell
phone..i told him...im sorry but im emotionally upset and cant stay
here today i was just yelled at like a dog in front of all the rest
of the employees and was embarassed to stay ....he warned me if i
left it was abbandonment of job...i said im sorry but im to upset to
stay.....two days later i was terminated from my position....he
heard her yelling at me,she has yelled at many people there....but
the blue code of silence among administration makes me more
disposible than her....i feel violated and now cant find a job...im
worride and feel very much disposed of....there excuse for my
termination was...i left when i was told not to...can someone
suggest for me what to do if anything?
