From what I understand (and I am not a lawyer), you only have legal
recourse if you can tie the verbal abuse into one of the classes
protected by law, primarily under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
of 1964. ... e.g., race, gender, ethnicity ,etc. Those with
disabilities and aged 40 and above also have some protections.
