Good day all.
Wow, I've just spent about 3 hours reading every post on this board
and it is sincerely heartbreaking. These employers and companies
have got to be stopped. These evil people WILL GET WHAT IS COMING TO
THEM. I beleive that there are times in all of our lives that we
face the music and are dealt the hand we have given.

Someone posted about what to do in cases where the verbal abuse is
done out of ear shot of others. My suggestion to the brave souls
who are experiencing this, is to quietly tell your abusers after
they have thoroughly lectured, berated, accused, etc you. Say
something to the effect of this, 99% will back off....
"I am wearing a recording device. You have a right to know that this
conversation is now on record. Conversations between myself and
anyone who has been made aware that they are being recorded may be
and will be recorded at my discretion. If you realize that what you
are engaging in is a violation of my human rights by verbally
harrassing me, I expect you will be more discreet in your actions
from here on out."

If you are brave enough to try this tactic, do it and see how they
run. Evidence that is recorded is impossible to refute. They have no
idea that you are not armed with recording equipment, and you are in
your rights to record conversations as long as the other party is
aware. In some states I believe that this law has changed some, to
where only one person needs to know that a conversation or action is
being recorded. Technology is so advanced, there is no way to tell
if someone is wearing something or not. They have no right to strip
search you at work. Only their property is subject to search, for
the exception of personal property of yours that is used for company
benefit, such as a vehicle.

This is my idea, although I should have used this tactic on my
abusive boss. I had other reasons for not wanting to confront him on
this level. My boss is mentally unstable with the potential to be
homicidal, so I just high tailed it on out of my job last week,
without making too many waves. I will post my story later. I have
been on this site all morning and OMG it is emotionally draining to
read of the horror that good, hard working, honest people are going
through that I need a break. I will post later today.

Fellow targets: As if I am one to talk, please try to focus on the
brighter side of the rainbow.. :)
