Check out the ENA website (http://ena.org/bcen/). It has MUCH information. I
would recommend taking a CEN review course. I took a 2-day review course--the
test is hard. Good luck, -Steve

Hi,
My name is Carolyn. I have been an RN for 13 years. I have picked up my books
to take the CEN test. How do I go about finding out when the test is being given
in my state? I will need to ask for the time off... Is there a web site I can go
to? Thanks!

If you are working in a higher acuity (or even if it is not), I think
it is important from a professional standpoint to achieve
certification in your area. I have a CCRN, and will be taking the the
Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) soon. It shows you have a
knowledge base and a commitment to your practice and a motivation to
excel.
Just my two cents...
