We are currently conducting a search for an ED Director in Colorado.
There is some phenomenal growth happening at our client's facility.

Are YOU looking for growth?

196 bed facility/32 bed Emergency Department in the Denver suburbs
north of Denver is currently seeking a Director of Emergency
Services. The position reports to the Director of Nursing at the
facility.

This facility has the oldest Sexual Assault Nursing Executive team
in the state of Colorado which falls under the jurisdiction of the
ED Director. Currently this facility has a Level IV Trauma
designation and is working to become a Level III designation in the
next twelve months. There are 45,000 anticipated visits to the
emergency department in a year's time. Growth is anticipated when
the hospital builds a new feeder facility just north within the next
six years; to include a medical office building and emergency
patient care center.

The staff of 80 is looking for a leader to help them grow into the
next decade. The Director provides leadership and accountability in
the daily operations of the Emergency Department; including
developing and maintaining physician relations, empowering clinical
care givers through solicitation of input, and implementation of
actions to improve delivery of patient care. The director is
responsible for planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the
provision of services in the Emergency Department. Participate in
and/or supervise the delivery of patient care, as necessary, and has
the responsibility for establishing standards of nursing practice
for the service. Achieve department goals, takes an active role in
achievement of hospital goals as they relate to the operations of
the Emergency Department; also assures adherence to hospital
policies and standards set forth by accreditation and regulatory
agencies.

A BSN with clinical management experience is required. An MBA is
preferred.
