Thanks Wayne. As a diabetic myself I am always amazed at the misinformation
that gets bandied about!!
Re Cancer and Diabetes. We know there is a link between those with higher
fat intake and cancer and coronary heart disease and other nasties but as yet
nothing to say diabetes causes Cancer. If there was my specialist who is an
international clinical researcher in diabetes working with the islet cell
transplant research team in alberta would have prob heard about it!!
Stay safe

I think that the articles that you are reading must be using a
play-on-words. Diabetes is not a cancer, you are right. However, if you
think as cancer as slowly taking the patient and slowly sucking the life
from somebody then you can liken that to diabetes. Diabetes slowly takes
over a patients life and controls when and what they do and eat.
Eventually, if they don't get their BS levels balanced out they can even
loose extremities etc... I hope that this helps! Also, you should look
over the article in in this link,

The previous link will let you see what can happen to diabetic patients if
they are educated on the proper supplements to include in their diet. Any
questions, hallar!
