I think that the articles that you are reading must be using a
play-on-words. Diabetes is not a cancer, you are right. However, if you
think as cancer as slowly taking the patient and slowly sucking the life
from somebody then you can liken that to diabetes. Diabetes slowly takes
over a patients life and controls when and what they do and eat.
Eventually, if they don't get their BS levels balanced out they can even
loose extremities etc... I hope that this helps! Also, you should look
