New to ER and have not begun yet. Was anxious about the following:
How do you find time to attend to the patients when more then one comes
in sypmtomatic. Do you get more than one active problem at a time.
Example 2 pts with chest pain, patient with stroke like symptoms,
patient unconscious. Would you get that many problems at the same time,
or is this a team effort. On the floor your assigned for example
5patients on my unit. So they come up relative stable with some
exceptions. However, in the ER they would be coming in symptomatic.
What are some time saving things that you do and how is it managed.
