Re: [emergency-nurse.org] Urgent care in the ER

i believe we use the same triage/flowsheet for both area's. i just think that
it isnt filled out as thorough. we had a one page flowsheet in triplicate, but
our new supervisor changed it to a four page fold-out flowsheet.
page 1 was the reason why he/she was there/ 1st set of vitals, current meds,
allergies, social (smoker, etoh, pmh.
page 2 is head to toe assessment, page 3 would be subsequent vital signs, meds
given, IV information, then discharge info.
page 4 is just lines to take the place of nurses notes.
nowhere on the new form is there a place for doctors orders, thats a whole new
sheet all together. nurses and doctors both hated this but got used to it and i
think it is more up to date with current standards. now we are computerizing
so the docs orders will go in the computer anyhow.
this is the form we use for the whole ED, including fast track.

It depends on category-like whether elderly, orthopaedic, paeds, cardiac,

Can anyone share a copy of a flowsheet used in your urgent care/fast

our new flowsheet...
