Curious about DNRs (do not resusitate) and DNAR (do
not attempt resusitation).
Occasionally have hospice patients come to the ER,
maybe the family or a care giver panics. People are
instructed to keep their POLSTs (physician ordered
life sustaining therapies), a bright pink paper on the
fridge as a central place where the first people on
the scene can see and act on the patients wishes. I
keep thinking there's got to be a better system?
Any body do anything different that works well?
Happy New Year, Val
