Hi all! I would like to introduce myself;I am in Northern California…
(not S.F. - we consider that southern Cal) I am about 100 or so miles
from the Oregon border. I have an awesome wife and 1,2,3...6 children
with one on the way! (It's not a religious thing, more like a 2nd
marriage thing.)I am in hospital management, radiology to be exact.
You may ask why I would want to join a nurses group? Well, in all of
my years in radiology I have noticed that our instructions come,
basically from the clinician THROUGH nurses, to the radiology
professionals. That is a very direct link we have to nurses. Despite
the close proximity, it seems there is some sort of resistance (on
all sides) to educate each profession about the other. That is where
I come in…my lofty goal in life is to provide educational support to
both sides, and hopefully lobby for some sort of future "partnership"
that would elevate the skills of everyone involved. The first step to
achieving this is getting to know YOUR side. I look forward to
getting to know you all.
