PT and Splints   Message List

My rheumologist sent me to PT for help with exercises and to be fitted
for splints. They know nothing about Ehlers Danlos and don't seem to
be interested in helping me. They gave me a catalog to order a thumb
splint. Does anyone know of a good physical and/or occupational
therapist in the Tampa Bay Florida area? If anyone could direct me
about what type of splints I need and where to go to get them that
would be helpful. I need splints for both wrist, both thumbs and all my
fingers, both knees, both ankles, neck, lower back, both shoulders, and
both hips. I am need to all of these so any help would be appreciated.
Maybe between my rheumatolgist and any information I get the two of us
can get me fitted. After suffering my whole life I just have been
recently diagnosed correctly.
