Sue,
I agree with you. I do not eat junk food and it depends on what kind of
excercise i do but my chiropractor and my doc are the best.

My Chiropracter tries gentle pressure and if that doesn't do it then
he uses
an activator. He explains it that the bone shifts the muscles don't like
being out of where it should be so they get irritable and spasm. The quicker
and the sooner you have them manipulated the less trauma less recovery. My
chiropractor has had special classes and manipulates extremities.
My forearm was cramping up and hard as a rock, couldn't figure out what was
going on. Went to him, felt around discovered my lunate bone was way out of
place. He manipulated it, went back in and instantly my forearm stopped
spasming, then I realized my wrist really hurt. But overall the pain was more
tolerable.
He has since have done my ankle, knee, shoulder and foot.
Also be careful of the ones that want you to come three times a week for 6
weeks then weekly for 6 months. My belief is that isn't what we (EDSer's)
should be doing. We should fixing problems, not letting people look for
problems. I call as I need. He adjusts and we cross our fingers that it stays,
if
It doesn't I go back the next day. then I may not see him for a month.
You gotta really listen to your body. You gotta to figure out what is
causing the pain. Is it in all one place? Real deep ache, that you want to rub
away? Probably something missed placed.
All over general ache, knees sore, back sore and just want to go to bed.
Maybe a little dehydrated and drinking a lot of water might help. Along with a
therapeutic massage to get the chemical kneaded out that is causing the
discomfort. (yes pain are different chemical that causes you brain to scream)
I know simple sugars can make the all over body aches. Too many donuts or
candy? you might notice this too. Also caffeine can do this.
Or I might be totally wrong. I am just trying to share what I think I have
learned.
I haven't figure out the excersise thing, one day I can do one thing another
time I am in trouble.
