We are already working on the Fall-Winter 2006 issue of EDS Today. The
featured topic in the fall will be Accessible Housing. We are seeking
articles related to finding accessible housing (houses, apartments, dorms),
making accommodations to houses, and requesting accommodations from
apartments/dorms. The deadline for submission for the next issue is
September 15, 2006.
As always, we are accepting submissions for any of our columns including:
* Reader to Reader - Column for readers to share ideas and experiences.
* Brace Yourself - Articles about braces, supports, and adaptive equipment.
* Coping Strategies - Articles about alternative treatment options, coping
methods, etc.
* Massage Therapy for EDS - Readers may submit questions to Michael W.
Uggen, LMP on massage therapy and bodywork. Email mike@... (mike @

* Service Dogs - Articles on training and living with a service dog.
* Recipes for Health - Reader submitted recipes.
* Poems- Reader submitted poems.
* Memorials & Tributes - Memorials and tributes about people with EDS. Send

* Reader to Reader - personal stories from people with EDS.
Your personal stories and experiences are welcome and encouraged. EDS Today
is the newsletter FOR, BY, and ABOUT people with EDS, which means that it is
YOUR newsletter.
EDS Today is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Authors are not compensated
financially for articles, but they do receive a free copy of the issue in
which their article appears.
