Grace,
The Ehlers-Danlos National Foundation offers a complimentary membership for
anyone who has EDS, but can't afford the dues. Meaning they won't charge you, so
join! If you save just $2 a month for the next year, you'll be able to afford
the dues next year. But you need to join now, so you can get access to a member
area with enough EDS patients that someone might know what you're dealing with.

What kind of back surgery were you considering? What type of EDS? When you post
on the EDNF message boards, include all the info you can.
Michelle

I just got back from a surgeon about my back. They said they found
a "void" in my spine down in the lower lumbar area. This Doctor that
I saw today is one of the best around here. He's afraid to do any
kind of surgery because of this. I don't know much of anything
about EDS other then the anurism part of it. I want to join the
National Foundation but finances wont let me at this time. Does
anyone know of anything like this in EDS cases???? Please let me
know if you do ASAP. I go tomorrow (8th) to see a specialest. Thanks
a bunch!

HUGGLES
