Hi Julie and Dudley,
Great info. and article shared Dudley. I know mine is more emotionally based
and I fiddle with hair so the follicles get weakened and can slip out. When I
tie up my hands then I see favorable results. I do eat a very healthy diet, but
surely can be missing lots as Julie shed wisdom on. I need to get back to Flax
Seed oil or the seeds ground daily plus eating more sea veggies, also known as
seaweeds. I can help with recipe ideas or you can google. I love it, but get
lazy with self and more diligent with other parts of my life like exercise
often.
I also heard sprouts is great mainly alfalfa. I love sprouting and you can
google the steps. If allowed here I will gladly share, but want to do what is
proper here in sharing department then go off into another direction. I love
this group so want to obey the posting topic rules.
Thanks all if I forgot you but your wisdom is very appreciated.
My condition has been long term for the hair and have had difficulty shaking the
"habit of fiddling." Conscious of habit/behavior.

Hi Carol,
This Cayce-based site about treating hair loss may be of interest to you:
IMO, you need omega 3 oils -- Â you can try evening primrose oil -- Â a very good conditioner is Hair Reconstructor by Eqyss -- Â it's a horse hair conditioner but made c/ herbs and works great on all hair inc. human hair,

Hi,
Am unfamiliar with crude oil shampoo and will look into it too. I know one local church sells lots of Cayce stuff or perhaps Whole Foods could order. Hair always feel dry too besides thin. I believe years back did try olive oil shampoo. Years back tried fo ti, but maybe not long enough. Can you take too much of the fo ti as a starter--like give it a shot in the arm fast method? Thanks.

Tina,
You can use a double boiler on the top of the stove to heat the castor oil
packs--and many alternative therapists have sliding scales for people with
hardships--it doesn't hurt to ask.

Thankyou, Anna, Robin, and Dudley for your replys.
I was using castor oil packs with my son for awhile. I did see it calmed him a
lot. My oven has been broken down since summer. I need another way to heat it.
It is time-consuming. An hour or more. I have to lay with my son, or he won`t
lay down. It gets tedious. Maybe after awhile, he would do it on his own. I
probably could try with my daughter at bedtime. As for energy healing, I am
interested in that. Problem being,is money. My son`s dad was from WV. His
grandparents are still there. They live in Thomas. I would love to learn this
stuff myself. Where could one go to get the training? What is the cost? Can you
get financial aid? I have child care issues, that is my other big problem.

I'm vegan so animal products is not an option.

I rarely post online, but enjoy reading what others say tremendously. I graduated from the ARE school of massage in Virginia Beach and we studied Cayce's remedies. I also graduated from the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, and did the teacher training and their advanced training for Therapists, called Brennan Integrated Practitioner Training at the time, but may be a different name now as they have integrated two programs. I'm also a doctoral level psychologist and have specialized training in working with children with neurological and developmental disorders.
I mention my background so that you'll know that there are some other alternatives you might want to try. I have found that energy healing can help tremendously with speech and language delays, emotional and cognitive delays and with behavioral issues. There are many types of energy healing and healers out there, and all have their benefit, so if you try one person, and have no success, don't hesitate to try another person. I personally work with both children and adults and mainly work long distance, as I live in a rural area of West Virginia. Beware of people who say they can "cure" anything, or push a product or treatment exclusively. There are no miracle cures out there and working with an energy healer is part of a treatment team, and can be long term. People often want a one session miracle but that isn't reality.
Children's energy fields are not strong and they change rapidly. After a healing, they will need time to integrate the session, and sometimes regress or lose an ability or behavior, but that comes back as the integration takes place. I would suggest looking into the options available where you live, and if you are looking for a referral, please let me know, as I know healers all over the world.

Hi Tina,
Castor oil packs often have a very positive effect on children with
attention issues. Also, "Gut and Psychology Syndrome" by Natasha
Campbell-McBride offers some interesting perspectives. If someone has a
leaky gut, supplementation actually can exacerbate rather than help
symptoms.

As other group members have indicated, black strap molasses is high in minerals and certain vitamins, particularly iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, and vitamin B6. As a liquid (viscous) whole-food source of these nutrients, it facilitates their optimal absorption and assimilation.
Many people are deficient in some or all of the above nutrients, so black strap molasses is a good food-sourced supplement to support overall health and energy levels and is particularly helpful for those with a tendency for anemia.

Question for the group: Has anyone here heard about black strap molasses being a cure for anything? Just curious as I have been reading some pretty remarkable things about it. Thanks, Chuck

Hi Julie,
Again, thanks for continued support. My dog NEVER ate grains till right now. I
am familiar with candida which hubby was diagnosed due to dietary challenges. I
didn't think of probiotics and now that is great advice.
I'll give Jeannette a call for her "suggestions." Right now the big news is the
dog is eating more, appearing to have lots more energy and the vet suggested
time, with little hope to heal this disease. However, I am believing
differently and acting accordingly. I have to reconsider options is removing
grains from diet as then she will be living on only meat and hates
veggies.......Vet has suggested 1/3 starch, 1/3 meat and think 1/3 veggies.
Thanks and get with Jeannette hopefully by tom.
Have a great day.

Antibiotic Overuse Threatens Modern Medicine: Experts
By Kate Kelland
LONDON (Reuters) Nov 10 - Overuse of antibiotics in Europe is building
widespread resistance and threatening to halt vital medical treatments such as
hip replacements, intensive care for premature babies and cancer therapies,
health experts say.
Dominique Monnet of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and
Control's (ECDC) scientific advice unit said the "whole span of modern medicine" is
under threat because bugs are become resistant to antibiotics, rendering the
drugs useless.
"If this wave of antibiotic resistance gets over us, we will not be able to
do organ transplants, hip replacements, cancer chemotherapy, intensive care
and neonatal care for premature babies," he told reporters at a briefing.
Antibiotics are needed in all these treatments to prevent bacterial
infection. But drug-resistant bacteria are a growing problem in hospitals
worldwide, marked by the rise of methicillin-resistant Staphyloccus aureus (MRSA) and
other multidrug resistant bacteria.
Such infections kill about 25,000 people a year in Europe and around 19,000
in the United States
On top of the risks to future treatments, Monnet said the costs of
antibiotic resistance were already hurting -- and may hit healthcare budgets across
the European Union yet harder if the problem is not addressed.
The six most common multi-drug-resistant bacteria cause around 400,000
infections a year in Europe, killing around 25,000 people and using 2.5 million
hospital days a year.
The ECDC, which monitors and advises on disease in EU, calculates that with
a hospital day costing an average of 366 euros ($548), multidrug resistant
infections are already sucking up 900 million euros a year in extra hospital
costs, and a further 600 million euros a year in lost productivity.
"Across the European Union the number of patients infected by resistant
bacteria is increasing and that antibiotic resistance is a major threat to
public health," the ECDC said.
Britain's government was criticised by a parliamentary committee on Tuesday
for failing to tackle the majority of hospital-acquired infections by
narrowing its focus to two high profile ones -- MRSA and Clostridium difficile.
The ECDC is planning an "antibiotic awareness" campaign on Nov. 18 to urge
doctors to stop overprescribing antibiotics.
Patients demanding antibiotics for viral infections often are not aware
that they will not work, it said, but doctors are and should stop giving in to
pressure.
Sarah Earnshaw of the ECDC's communications unit, pointed to a 2002 survey
that showed 60 percent of patients do not know that antibiotics do not work
against viruses like flu and colds.
"Patients often demand antibiotics," she said. And doctors often think, she
said, that giving in is a quicker way to deal with a demanding patients
than persuading them otherwise.

Thanks Julie about need oil. I believe this condition for her ears is a result
of the lupus and they will be working on them tomorrow along with me asking more
questions.
With the lupus it affects her nose and some days the top of nose can be very
red, then it can be back to normal color.
For her paws since we are covering them up with cotton socks he is believing
they look and smell like a fungus so we are bathing them in apple cider vinegar
by dipping them in and out, then drying with paper towel and letting them
breath.
They will clip the hair on bottom of paws so she can't pull it out.
She has been licking like crazy when we have socks off. A catch 22 here.
She has come a far way for sure.
I am very grateful and appreciative of your help.
Wow, 12 "children".
Again thanks.

HI Dudley,
Thanks for great info. Tom. vet appt. He is very opened to alternatives.
Dog had a great day and almost back to normal without running like a crazy 10
year old nut.
Will keep you posted on vet talk.
I'm thinking also the light, Let there Be Light, book that talks about color
gels, etc.

Know of any remedies for above for our 10 yr. old recently diagnosed. Doing
drugs slightly, but not my favorite option.
What about castor oil? Applying it to dogs paws to help her walk better
although she has come a far way in about 2 month.
Bentanite clay? Orally with lots of water and little clay?
What about coconut oil for the dog?
Famliar with this guy? dinshahhealth.com for website I believe.....I am thinking
making the lamp gadget that uses gel sheets he talks of.
Got any other groups to join for help here? Thanks.

Question for the group: Has anyone here heard about black strap molasses being a cure for anything? Just curious as I have been reading some pretty remarkable things about it. Thanks, Chuck
