My son was a heroin addict..  He tried for years and years to get off that drug.  The was given a 5% chance to live.  Then I got breast cancer.  My cancer let him re-focus and finally beat the addiction and he is well today and so am I.  It is was certainly a disguised blessing but one I would do again if I had to.
