Hi Everyone,
Panniculitis is a rare autoimmune condition characterized by painful and unsightly skin lesions. I recently received the following communication from someone who successfully used LDN to defeat this condition:
Hi Dudley,
I wrote to you around the end of May with questions on making my own LDN. I have an autoimmune disease -panniculitis. I was concerned that I also have a genetic heart arrhythmia - Wolf Parkinson White Syndrome.
Just thought I'd give you an update. I started at 1.5 mg as you suggested. I didn't sleep at all the first night and the first day was in a total fog! Next night was better and by the 3rd night I was back to normal. I did have a short heart run the first night but that isn't abnormal for me. My panniculitis was cloning pretty quickly. It's also on the skin graft that I had done 10 yrs ago on my foot and I was freaking out. So, I would increase 1/2 mg about every week. I did have sleep issues with every increase. I've worked up to 4.5 and have been on that dose for 4 days now! YEAH!
Two days ago I noticed that all the raised dots are flattening out and I haven't gotten any new ones in about a week. I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!
Also wanted to mention that the LDN has not affected my WPW.
THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR INSTRUCTIONS! My Rheumy looked at me like I had 2 heads when I asked him about LDN. I knew getting started on LDN quickly was essential before my disease got out of hand again. I'll write in another month and give you an update!
I forgot to mention a couple of minor things I've had in the inner eye at the corner a little inflammation - doc thinks an allergy - had to use a cream steroid at night, which drove me crazy the next day - looking through film. I always waited until it got pretty bad before I would use the cream. Have had it for a few years. That is totally gone. Also had a small patch of psoriasis on my scalp which I controlled with a tar product for the last 10 yrs. That is totally gone!
