Hi,

I am new to this group and wanted to join to express how much LDN has
helped me with my fibromyalgia and Myofascial Pain Syndrome. This
stuff hit me nearly 9 years ago, to the point where it was hard for
me to have an active normal life. I had just recoverd from RA
symptoms due to mycoplasma infection. Which, I did the antibiotic
protocol of minocycone/doxicycline. I had a couple good years before
the other nightmare hit. I had tried many other protocols that I
learned about either on the web or reading in magazines, icluding
Guaifenesin protocol. I found some relief with chiropractic care,
deep tissue massage, and Monolaurin, a supplement made from coconut
milk.

But, an email friend told me about the LDN, that she was on and how
it helped her. My doctor is very open minded. I took the
information to him about the LDN. But, he wanted to put me on Lyrica
first, as that was the new miracle drug for FMS. Well, it was
horrible.

Finally, he prescribed the LDN. I started out on 3.0mgs and had
immediate improvement. This was May of '08. In November I went to
the 4.5mgs. That changed my life. I don't go to the chiropractor
much anymore nor have to have massage. My IBS has cleared up and I
am 98% pain free!!!! I can't say enough about LDN. I still do have
some thyroid problems that I continue to have to doctor for. It has
not helped with that, infact my thyroid dropped.

But, I would recommend LDN for FMS & MPS. I am very active. I am 67
yrs. and can still keep up with the activities of my 12
grandchildren, who are very involved with sports.

Elaine in MI.
