Hi Jimmy,
Having a close family member diagnosed with cancer is certainly not an easy
experience. I know when my husband was diagnosed with cancer, the first
thing I wanted to do was fix the situation. Today, I realize that going
into "fix-it" mode was really just my defense against knowing something
very frightening.
While I appreciate the desire to help, sometimes what is needed most is for
someone to love and care and honor the journey of your loved one while at
the same time loving, caring, and honoring oneself. If your sister is
looking for your advice by all means give it to her, but please listen
carefully because she just may be asking you for you loving support.
God bless you both,
Robin

Subject: [edgarcaycestreatments] Renal Cancer -- What to do???
Hi Everyone,
Recently my 54 year old sister was diagnosed with Stage 4 Clear Cell renal
carcinoma that has spread to her lungs. The doctors have started her on a
very promising new trial therapy that doesn't shrink or cure anything, but
keeps it all from growing and spreading. Other patients of these doctors
that were at least as bad off as my sister, have been doing well after a
year or more on this therapy. The cancer is still there but has not grown
or spread any further then when this therapy was started. Chemo and
radiation therapies are basically useless with this type of cancer.
I have never experienced anyone close to me, or especially in my very large
family, having cancer of any kind. This is a new one on me! What is there
that can be done? Anyone? Did Cayce give any words of wisdom on this one?
I have seen so many letters here about Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN), and
usually pass them by, as cancer and these other things have not effected me
until this time. At best I always for the information about LDN relative
to MS to a friend of mine who suffers from the same.
Is there any information about LDN and renal cancer available anywhere?
Any other helpful info would be greatly appreciated. Guess it's time for
me to educate myself in this area.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Cordially,
Jimmy O.
