The LDN Awareness Day

is now the

International LDN Awareness Week



19th - 25th October 2009



I sent a request asking people to send us their LDN story, many have you did
immediately thank you so much! For the Awareness Week to be a success we
need everyone�s input, please don�t sit back and do nothing YOUR story is so
important to us.

We need your story for whatever condition you are using LDN, and whatever
country you live in. We have people from five countries already supporting
the campaign.



Now we need help to fund the campaign. We are employing a PR company as the
event is growing bigger than we can manage, so that we need expert help to
make it a success. This all takes plenty of money, a lot of it which we
don�t have. The campaign will start 1st September and will run until 30th
October.



What the money is needed for:

The PR Company, will be working for us for less than half price, but this is
still �3,000 VAT



Car stickers � plus P&P for posting them to people



Printing of Flyers



Hire of a radio studio for the day-apparently the PR Company can get us
back-to-back radio interviews across the UK.



As you can see this is an enormous amount of money for a small charity such
as ours. We don�t pay salaries and unfortunately don�t receive funding from
anyone. We are lucky in the donations you send us.



Please, please, can everyone try to help? If you could afford �5 we could
cover this, but to do that we need everyone to help. I hate to have to beg
like this but I can�t see any other way.

If you can�t manage even a small donation, maybe you can help to fundraise?
Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.



We are working very closely with SammyJo (www.ldners.org/), Julia Schopick
and Malcolm West in the USA, they are making a similar push to widen LDN
awareness there, and also need funding.



It really is time to all pull together to make this work. LET US PUT LDN ON
THE GLOBAL MAP!!



Please give support with your stories, and help with funding.



Every amount of money counts and it is appreciated.
