Hi All,
In my opinion, MS exacerbations don't just happen. They happen for a
reason. That reason is, I believe, in most cases, an adverse reaction to
something we have ingested. It could be something to which we are
allergic, sensitive, or intolerate. It could be something contaminated
with pesticide residue. It could be something contaminated with
pathogenic microorganisms. It could be something contaminated with a
toxin. It could be a combination of these things.
In regard to allergies, I recommend every MSer take the 96-Food ELISA
Intolerance Test available here:

Once you have ingested something that did not agree with you, it's going
to take time for your body to rid itself of that substance--perhaps
hours, perhaps days, perhaps a week or two. Drinking a lot of water
(preferably distilled) will help, as will exercise, and a detox regimen
like the one featured here:

It goes without saying that you MUST identify the offending substance
and eliminate it from your diet, or the cycle will keep repeating.
This site has some good advice about food items to avoid and things you
can do in general to beat your MS:
