Hi Everyone,
If some members of this group are having trouble obtaining Low Dose
Naltrexone (LDN) with which to treat their MS, they may want to look at
an indredient in drug store cough syrup called dextromethorphan (DM).
Like Naltrexone, DM is also an opioid receptor antagonist.
There are some people in a Parkinson's chat group who take one teaspoon
(about 5mg) of DM nightly. There is one member, in particular, who has
been on DM for two years and who says his PD has not progressed.
You may want to consider taking cough syrup with just DM as the active
ingredient as a possible substitute for LDN.
