A student of the Edgar Cayce material for many years, Phil Thomas makes and
sells the long pole version of the Cayce wet cell battery. The following account
appeared in Mr. Thomas' 2002 book, "Beyond Theory: Edgar Cayce's Natural
Health," and has been used by permission:
"On one occasion, I received a call from a middle-aged woman living in
Milwaukee. She had been bed-ridden for several years with MS. As fate would have
it, I was leaving the next day for a conference in that same city. I agreed to
bring a wet cell. When I arrived at her home, I realized that she had not
exaggerated her situation at all. She literally had been in bed for more than
four years, and escaped only to her wheel chair during the day, being totally
dependent on her blind husband.
We set up the battery so that she could use it daily, and within three weeks she
called to report that suddenly she was able to push herself out of bed in the
morning, and she could feel the energy returning to her paralyzed legs during
each treatment. She began writing on a regular basis as she pulled herself out
of a deep depression. Each week brought new reasons for optimism as she began a
rigorous exercise program. Her condition quickly improved, due in part to the
fact that she was not on a pharmaceutical protocol, but mostly attributable to
her zeal for life. Within six months, she was walking, driving a car, and
working again. Unquestionably, this was one of the most dynamic recoveries that
I had witnessed."
