Hello all,
I've been suffering from moderate-severe psoriasis for several years covering
much of my arms, legs, back buttock, forehead and using powerful topical
steroids which were hardly able to manage it. I suffer from severe anxiety and
have terrible sleep problems. The medications I take have strong anticolonergic
effects making it virtually impossible for me to make a bowel movement without
help. I was taking Miralax for about 2 years which worked, then after reading
about "leaky gut syndrome," which I think I have, decided to try a water enema
to clean out my system. Well, I've been doing this regularly every other day
instead of taking the Miralax and my psoriasis is now about 80% improved. I'm
not a doctor but I think that I do have leaky gut syndrome and that it is
causing an autoimmune response greatly exacerbating my psoriasis. I don't
remember how long to took for me to see results, maybe two weeks not more. if
anyone wants to try this and let me know if they receive a significant reduction
in lesions that would be cool. Maybe there's a new tool in our arsenal.
