You guys - I was there a long time ago. For me the path to coping was a detox
diet and a selective discovery that the things I was allergic to were:
eggs, corn, msg, nitrates and sulphates, all processed foods, aspartame,
processed meats (pork sausages, corned-beef, pastromy, hams, beef jerky (if
additives) etc)-
Especially MSG and Aspartame - I was even brand sensitive to smokes - no wonder
as they put corn syrup and all kinds of goodies into the dressing on the tobacco
blends
----------------------------------------
In 1989 I did a ten day ultra neutral diet. lamb, olive oil, peeled bananas and
apples, sume nuts and seeds, yogurt but no other dairy
-no grains whatsoever, and no cafeine (choc coff tea etc)
-----------------------------------------
Day three - five the symtoms got worse than perhaps ever before
Day six on - life became better and approached heaven - skin cleared, head aches
cleared, for the first time in my life I had crystal clear memorie recall and I
could read complex books with almost photgraphic recall. WOW.
On day ten I went to a neighbor form Bejing across the hall where we were
invited for dinner. Between a CN-FR dictionary and a FR - English, I figured
out the next day that yes she spices all the food with MSG. But my brake - fast
chinese dinner, gave me alternate warm and cold feet and opposite ears - one
side sweating the outher cold and clammy. It was amazing the severety of the
reaction.
In short, ever since then I cope by staaing away from processed foods, obvious
allegens (eggs, corn, msg etc) - Corn syrup is a scurge against humanity, but
Aspartame and Nutrisweet are WORSE.
I still drink too much coffee, but sports and clean living keep me sain.
Oh yeah, the grains and additives in wine and beer- I^ve been aa/na clean for
seven years now - and LIFE continues to get better one day at a time.
Perhaps time for another pilgrimage into 100% neutral diet again.
Good Luck All -
