Wow! Thank you so much. Just reading this gives me hope. We are still battling
this monster. I will definitely visit your site. I will go get the soap to see
if it works for us. Thanks again. I will keep you posted.

Just saw your message. NYDC99. I hope I can help some.

I'm a mother of 3, grandmother, and eczema sufferer 30+ years now. Mine
is under control for the most part, and here are some of my DOS AND
DONTS regarding eczema. Keep in mind that each person is an individual
with their own triggers and what works for one will not help another
sometimes. With this in mind, try this:

1. Avoid Swimming!!! The chlorine in the water is murder for eczema
suffers! 2. Filter the water your daughter bathes in to remove
cholorine and other chemicals. (somebody sells a shower filter system
online) 3. Remove all commercial soaps, shampoos, body products from
your daughter's daily contact areas. Use ONLY all natural products for
hair, body, face, etc. Goats milk soap is by far the most nourishing and
gentle, so long as it's all natural. 4. Between applications of
prescription ointments etc., keep the area moist with OINTMENT, nothing
water-based. This is very important to control itching and scratching
and worsening of the problem. I make a Calendula balm and sell it on my
website if you're interested. Many have used it to find relief including
myself and my children. 5. Prepare for puberty to increase the
problem! Mine still flares up full swing once a month for a day or two,
then dies down. 6. Avoid consuming milk-based products in large
quantities. Ice cream, milk, yogurt, cheese. I have found a direct
relationship between my milk consumption and itchiness. No milk allergy
is present, but something is triggering it. 7. AVOID SUGAR!!! Sugar
has a profound affect on my eczema, causing reddening, extreme itching
and skin tearing shortly after eating sweets. 8. Try Swedish Bitters
as a cleansing agent internally. There is a non-alchohol formula
available online, search for it. This has helped me a good deal, and I
just take it occasionally. It is NASTY NASTY NASTY in the taste
department, but a teaspoon will help from time to time. 9. Your
daughter should drink lots of filtered, unchlorinated water. Find a
brand you can afford. Water is the ultimate cleansing agent for the
body, and most people DONT get nearly enough. It should be the first
thing in her mouth in the morning, and the last thing at night. It takes
a little time, but you will see a difference. 10. Exercise daily for
at least 20 minutes. This helps to release toxins from the muscle
structure. 11. TRY A MEDICINAL MASSAGE THERAPY! These are great for
toxin removal. Someone in your community probably does this. Its
legitimate and worth the price if it helps.

I invite you to view my website at www.PottingshedApot hecary.com
<http://www.Pottings hedApothecary. com> for handmade products that might
help including goats milk soap, balm, etc. You can also email me at
cs@pottingshedapoth ecary.com <mailto:cs@pottingshedapoth ecary.com> for
more info.

Hope you find some help for the poor child. I know how it is!
