on Current Trends in Cardiac Ultrasound on May 10th and 11th, 2007
at our facility located in St. Pete Beach, Florida.
Course Topics
Day One — Echocardiography Assestment of Heart Failure
-- Quantifying LV Diastolic function
-- Heart failure, LV dyssynchrony and Cardiac Resynchronization
Therapy I
-- Heart failure, LV function and Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy
II
-- Introduction to 3D/4D Echocardiography
-- Hands-on sessions
Day Two — Vascular Screening for Cardiovascular Disease
-- Ultrasound evaluation of the abdominal aorta
-- Carotid imaging techniques and live demonstration
-- Evaluation of Intimal Media Thickness (IMT) / Live demonstration
-- Hands-on sessions
Participants may attend one or both days.
The program is structured with didactic lectures in the mornings,
and hands-on workshops in the afternoons.
16 AMA Category 1 credits will be offered to participants.
