Evidence based medicine (EBM) is the process of life-long self-directed learning in which caring for patients leads to the search for valid and clinically important information about diagnosis, prognosis, therapy, and other clinical and health-care issues, and incorporation this information into practice. EBM is not some new way to practice medicine; it is simply systematically using available information regarding a particular issue.
To help make this easier, this group will gather any available evidence answering any clinical question. You are welcome to join the Jeddah EBM group to benefit by receiving ready made evidence. To save time of clinicians, the evidence submitted by anyone should be preceded by the specialty (e.g. Surgery, Diet, Ob/Gyn..).
