Karla, reading your post again, it's not clear if you have phantosmia
or parosmia. If you are truly experiencing a taste distortion rather
than a "flavor" distortion, clonazepam helped me with that.

Is it one specific smell that overpowers and distorts everything else,
including your taste?

More people in the parosmia group seem to be helped by Lyrica or Neurontin than Klonopin (clonazapam). I have been on clonazepam for years for another...
