Hi Lin
You've probably already come across my FAQ
http://personal.ecu.edu/wuenschk/ViralMick.htm
If you haven't you may find it of interest. Taste is not flavour, for sure. It's
a matter of terminology. If your friend's husband has flavour then his olfaction
is intact. If he is just talking about tongue taste then it is not. Right now
I'm sure you know the difference.
Mail if you have questions. We viral and former viral anosmics know what you are
experiencing.
Mick
