Caroline--
GET YOUR SON TESTED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!
I am from the US, so am unsure as how to get tested in the UK. But is is
important to get your son help as soon as possible. I am severly dyslexic but
was not diagnosed untill I was 11. I was merely labeled "stupid" "unmotivated"
"just plain dumb" "messy and unproductive" And "lazy" by my teachers untill I
was in the fith grade, and my teacher recognized the markers for dyslexia.
Now, with the help that I am getting to over come my differentness, I am doing
well in school, and am even going into two honor classes in the fall.
And, Caroline, if the tests come back positive, rimind him that dyslexia does
NOT make him stupid. Rimind you son that dyslexia is nothing to be ashamed
about, in fact he is part of an exclusive club.

I think may be dyslexic. I need some advice on what to do next.
Who can test him, do we go through the schools etc?
Craig spells badly, sometimes puts letters backwards, has trouble
with maths, he is not doing too badly at school but he feels left
behind sometimes.
Any information would be great
Thanks
