Re: Please reply

Howard.....

I myself am a dyslexic adult student. I went through the State
Vocational/Rehabilitation Service, which tested me for dyslexia and
an IQ test. Now that Im a certified dyslexic, I now have longer test
times and can take my tests alone where I wont be distracted. They
are also paying for my education/books and tutoring 100%.It sounds
like your brother is like myself....a global thinker, Is he left
handed by any chance? This shows his creative nature. He sees above
the forest rather than through the trees. When teachers/people talk
to him, they are drawing pictures. If they cant draw very well, then
they have lost him. He needs to research learning styles, which will
help him grasp knowledge alittle better. The problem is, your
brother like the rest of us are living in a non-dyslexic world.
There is not a problem with the way he thinks. He has his reasons
for disecting. Myself, have had to drop algebra three times, I to
cant except that you do formulas just because its the rules....I need
to know why they work.
