Dear London Group member,
The next DANDA London monthly
social meeting at The Green Man Pub opposite Great Portland Street station is
this Tuesday 25th April, at 7pm. We look forward to seeing as many of you as we
can there.

IMPORTANT: The Green Man meeting will go ahead as normal this month, there will
NOT be a refurbishment of the pub going on. We have been told this has now been
put back to August.

b.. Members need to be able to travel independently and support themselves.
Alternatively they can bring their own companion e.g. a friend or support
worker.
c.. Conditions: Developmental neurodiversity - Asperger's, Dyspraxia,
Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder, Dyslexia, Tourette's, Dyscalculia,
High Functioning Autism etc.


When: 4th Tuesday of every month - please note it is not the last Tuesday

Tuesday 23rd May
Meeting downstairs at the Green Man Pub, 383 Euston Road - Opposite Great
Portland Street Station from 7pm onwards. The pub will not be refurbished until
August.

Sunday 18th June
AUTISM PRIDE DAY. Visit to the Science Museum. Meet at 10am outside the
lecture theatre. Free Entry. Address: Science Museum, Exhibition Road, South
Kensington, London SW7 2DP.

1.30pm to 4pm there will be a picnic in Hyde Park, next to the Albert
Memorial - it's about a 15 minute walk away from the museum. Meet on the East
side grass at bottom of steps.

Saturday 24th June
Trip to Sir John Soane Museum (a neuro-diverse collector). 13 Lincoln's Inn
Field. Meet at Holborn Station at 1pm for a 1:30pm start. After the trip, visit
the coffee shop and possibly go to the pub.

Tuesday 27th June
Meeting downstairs at the Green Man Pub. Time and location as above.

Saturday 8th July
Greenwich River trip. Meet at Cutty Sark DLR Station at 10:30am for an 11am
start. Visit the Maritime Museum. Picnic in Greenwich Park. Then on to the Royal
Observatory for a quick visit. After that take a boat on the Thames to
Westminster and then off to the pub (the boat trip should cost around £6. The
Museum and Observatory are free.

Saturday 15th July
Conference & AGM - near Kentish Town Station, London. Contact Mary for
information and booking.
