Dear All,
Remember when the BBC came to film the DANDA social night back in
November? Well the film is going to be shown on Thursday morning at 12:15 am
(i.e. just after Wednesday night). Best get your videorecorders set if you are
not up at this hour. Here are the details:

Disabled And Looking For Love
Thu 30 Mar, 12:15 am - 1:10 am 55mins

Four disabled people look for love. This film follows them in their search
to see if they can find the partner of their dreams.

Finding a partner is hard enough, but imagine if you're in a wheelchair
and can't talk. What on earth do you do? How do you find a girlfriend who can
handle your autism? How do you get laid if you don't have a leg to get over?

Disabled and Looking for Love follows four people all with very different
challenges, but who are all on the same quest; to find love.

Simon; 38 has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair. He finished his last
serious relationship five years ago and is fed up of being on his own. He wants
to muster the confidence to finally ask a girl out.

Oldooz; 22, is studying for a masters degree and looking for a soulmate to
accept her and her degenerative disability that means she needs 24 hour care.

Clifford; 55 is a gardener, a die-hard Arsenal supporter and leads a
hectic social life. The only thing he hasn't got is a girlfriend. He's
determined that in spite of his autism he will find that special someone to make
his life complete.

Nick; 30, lives on his own and has just started his first ever
relationship with a girl called Lisa. The only problem is that they live 200
miles apart. They both have cerebral palsy which affects their speech and their
mobility and Lisa needs full-time carers. Are his feelings strong enough to take
on Lisa and her carers? [S]
