Go to google.com
Look up "Natural Reader".
Down-load two files.
Then load them both into your computer.
You then have the Trile Version of the program.
I used the TrileV for six months before I got tired of it reading only a
little at a time and found that Natural-reader is the best for the price.
$30.00 U.S.dollars is as cheep as I could find and gives you so much more than
many of its competitor.
As for speech to text is concerned, you may need a bigger computer first and
that lots of time to program voice recognition software.
Your better off with using spell-check.

I am new to this site. Im Michael, 37, dyslexic and a farmer from
Northern Ireland. I have real trouble when I am surfing the internet
to find out information quickly and clearly, i.e. reading documents
mainly. My reading is not great and it takes me a long time to scan
articles for the information that I need. My girlfriend Karen is
typing this for me and this is also a pain, as I take far too long to
do this myself. This inhibits me from using the internet as much as I
would like to. It can be very frustrating.
My question is does anyone know about a good software program/gadget
that can convert text to speech and vice versa? i.e. highlight text
word by word, as it should be read, and then translate to speech? Also
speech to text, e.g to enable me to send this email myself, quickly.
Any tips would be much appreciated and names of providers and costs etc.
Thanks, Michael
