Hi Everyone

I am new to this site. Im Michael, 37, dyslexic and a farmer from
Northern Ireland. I have real trouble when I am surfing the internet
to find out information quickly and clearly, i.e. reading documents
mainly. My reading is not great and it takes me a long time to scan
articles for the information that I need. My girlfriend Karen is
typing this for me and this is also a pain, as I take far too long to
do this myself. This inhibits me from using the internet as much as I
would like to. It can be very frustrating.

My question is does anyone know about a good software program/gadget
that can convert text to speech and vice versa? i.e. highlight text
word by word, as it should be read, and then translate to speech? Also
speech to text, e.g to enable me to send this email myself, quickly.

Any tips would be much appreciated and names of providers and costs etc.
