Hi Donna and to all parents in the group,

First let me introduce myself, I have completed my engineering, worked for 4
years and presently I am doing my MBA in UK, and I am dyslexic.

I have always been a passive member of this group, and this is the first time I
am writing.

I am writing this mail especially to u and all the parents who r there in this
group. U all have given berth to genius’s, they r all genius in making and it’s
just in ur hands to do that. Every dyslexic is unique from each other; do not
make him think like the other common people, make him think the way he thinks
(the way a genius thinks). It’s all in ur hand to understand ur kid and
facilitate him according to his needs. This is where he will think different
form others. One thing is for sure that ur kid needs u and u have to facilitate
him to become a genius. Do not be afraid or panic or scared, just throw them to
the lions and take a writing form me him/she will come as a winner.

I agree that there is a lot of research going on about dyslexic, but its not
dyslexic how r doing the research…. This is like a doctor talking about turbo
engine in an aircraft… ya I am getting little bit snobbish here… to me only one
dyslexic can understand another. The best example I can give u is the speech

it was hilarious, funny, a joke to the world, but to me this is thee most
powerful speech I have ever come across….. nobody can understand the power of
that speech, but only by a dyslexic, and I found that Larry Ellison is a
dyslexic. My point is that the researchers and the doctors r working on a
subject which they can never understand because they r not dyslexic.

Do not torture or frustrate ur kids by often taking them to a doctor or a
Psychiatrist, which will sub continuous make them feel mentally ill. Just by
taking them in the midst of mentally ill kids in a clinic or a hospital mite
annoy them. The best doctor or a researcher or a Psychiatrist for ur kid is u
parents and nobody else. Believe in yourself and believe in ur kids to get the
best out of them.
