Hello Trish,
I am currently studying for my PhD and I have dyslexia. I have found the
following study tips that have helped me in the past and present:
Get your books on audio tape or CD
If you are listening to the audio of your book also read out loud with it
If you do not have your books on audio just read out loud
Highlight the important information in the book
When you stop to highlight write in the margin why you highlighted this
passage (this has been the best tip for me)
The more sense I involve during studying the better, such as, burn a candle
while you are studying, hear, see, and say.
Best of luck to you,
Leslie
