Some experts have speculated that Albert Einstein was dyslexic. A
headmaster once told his father that what Einstein chose as a
profession wouldn't matter, because "he'll never make a success at
anything."
At six he began learning to play the violin and became a gifted
amateur violinist, maintaining this skill throughout his life.
In the fall of 1905, at the age of 26, Einstein published a short
paper in which he proposed the famous equation, E = mc2: the energy
in matter is equal to its mass multiplied by the square of the
velocity of light. This equation explained how stars, like our own
sun, can emit large amounts of light while losing very little mass;
and it anticipated the splitting of the atom and the construction of
the atom bomb thirty-five years later.
