Hi Jesse. I can't be positive, but I do recall reading that post traumatic
stress disorder can cause some problems in development.....I'm not sure if
this was in reference to a young child though, or older....or if the age
matters at all. I did see this little blurb while doing a quick search.
"Related Disorders:
PTSD often occurs in conjunction with related disorders and symptoms ,
including:

* Depression, and feelings of guilt and hopelessness
* Substance abuse
* Disillusionment with authority
* Problems of memory and cognition "
