Is anyone on this list familiar with any relationship between
childhood/adolescent domestic abuse and dyslexia? During my late adolescent
years and early twenties, I've shown some symptoms of dyslexia. Also I've gone
through domestic and a bit of sexual abuse during my late childhood and early
adolescent years. When I've done some reading about childhood/adolescent
domestic abuse, I've come across evidence presented that people who have gone
through domestic abuse in their early years show disorganized thinking and
changes in metabolism when they've grown into adulthood. So I'm wondering if
there has been any studies to see if there's any connection between domestic
and sexual abuse as children and dyslexia. Anybody have any idea?
