Hi my name is Dianne and I am a first year uni student completing a
bachelor of education. I am compiling a research folio on teaching
students with dyslexia (particularly focusing on primary school
students) and would much appreciate any information or teaching
strategies from people with knowledge in this area.
Hi, My name is Erin,
I'm a student with Dyslexia. Is there any particular informantion that your
looking for? Like are there any particular question you have? There are
different degrees of Dyslexia- Severe, Mild, and Moderate. I on the other hand
have ( I think) Moderate. Now, I have problems with- compreheion, oral and
written language. Most Dyslexic students take a longer time to take tests, and
some of them including myself get the tests read to them, because they might
understand it better if someelse reads the test to them.
Does that help? I can look up some teaching stratagies for you. Or one good site
to look at is www.ldonline.com
P.S. If you need anything else just let me know.
Good luck!!
Erin,
